In 2024, Claire launched Doyenne Development, seeking to utilize her unique experience and development approach to catalyze place-based investment in direct partnership with communities. She chose the name “Doyenne” as an acknowledgement of the underrepresentation of female-led firms in the real estate industry and the distinct value that female leadership brings to development projects.

Claire’s passion lies within creative placemaking that takes a community-first approach. This is underscored by a fundamental belief that thoughtful development will result in above average returns for investors and long-term value for communities. She specializes in leveraging partnerships to create real estate solutions that achieve both public policy goals and investment returns.

Claire lives in Minneapolis with her seven-year-old rescue dog, Beaudry. She is an avid live-music fan, loves to host gatherings for her friends and family and regularly practices her creative skills in various types of handcrafting such as crocheting, toy-making, writing and sketching.
